Ok, so here' the deal, I am selling my nearly complete VP Free. It is complete minus the front wheel and brakes. This is a rediculous price for this set up. The Fork is a 2008 Totem Solo air. The rear shock is a DHX 5.0. Rear wheel is 24" Arrow Racing rim on 12 X 150 Hadley hub. Drive train is sram. Cranks are truvative. The bike needs a new Derailiuer hanger ($30), and the sram X7 is a little bent, but usable. Let me know if you want to pick this bike up for this great price. Thanks.

What’s offered here is a VINTAGE KINGSTON 3 speed bicycle in “Royal Blue” in color with the really cool white saddle and matching hand grips. Front and Rear CHROME FENDERS and their in perfect condition too. If you’ve ever ridden a bicycle in the rain you know how nice it is to have fenders…..and we do get rain once in a while around here. It’s in truly good condition but needs to be polished up. If you’ve been looking for a nice old vintage cruiser you know they’re asking $100 and up…..Well most of them aren’t in the condition that this sweet little “Gem” is in….BUT YOU WILL NEED TO DO A LITTLE WORK IF YOU WANT THIS BABY TO SHINE!! (or not) because there is some dust and grime from storage in a basement which is EASILY REMOVED, and I’m throwing in the steelwool so you can make this nice old bike “SHINE-LIKE-NEW!” in just an hour or two and save yourself $60. There are cheapers available but you may have to travel to Olympia or Everett and not find what you want anyway.
Details, retailed by Schucks3 speed lever shift on handlebar (perfect for getting around the less hilly areas Green Lake, Alki, Burke-Gilman Trail) has all SHIMANO GEARS (shifts great) the seat and grips are in excellent condition for a 40 year old bike, AND the paint is gonna shine up nicely with a little soap and wax. It has 26” tires and is suitable for a person from 5’ – 5’10” …Would make a nice Xmas gift too.

YOU WON’T BE DISSAPOINTED

#1) This is a pretty nice BLUE /better sturdier RHODES BIKE RACK in great condition.
This is a very versatile model. It holds 3 bikes. It takes about 5 minutes to attach to the vehicle and is very secure with plenty of tie-downs and clips to keep your bikes secure and in place. One of the nice feature of this style bike rack is the way it collapses to a very compact size, perfect if you've got limited space in your house or car trunk. These bike racks have the adjustments to fit almost any vehicle so it will likely fit yours (except for a VW Bug or Glass Hatchback).
#2) Is the same style but made by YAKIMA but is LIKE BRAND NEW/APPEARS UNUSED but will only fit 2 bikes $47 is the price.
A great way to take your bikes with you and have a nice compact rack for minimal storage space.!
These are very well made and start around $90 on the bike carrier/rack websites (Thule Yakima Trek) then there’s the Shipping /Handling charges here’s a link:
http://www.rackattack.com/shop-rack-brands.asp

So this is a pretty good value for the $36, I’m asking for it’s a great VALUE, PLUS its actually MADE IN THE USA (Rhode Island)….NOT CHINA/TAIWAN/HONG KONG.
Its very well constructed and like new and has the original/storage box too!!

Beautiful bike, a few nicks here and there. Never dropped or crashed. 3.8 mm frame.

I rode it maybe 200 miles total. Been hanging from my garage for the last 17 years.
I have additional pictures upon request. Call my cell 253-324-0856
Cheers!

Like new condition - clean. I paid over $180 will sell for $125 for a quick sale.

While most tag-a-longs feature a 20 inch wheel, the Trek Mountain Train 241 is one of the few single speed tag-a-longs to offer a 24 inch wheel. This makes it ideal for teaching older children the rules of the road or for use with those kids who exhibit balance problems. The Mountain Train 241 also features an adjustable stem that makes it easy to adjust for riders of different sizes. The tag-a-long hitches effortlessly to an adult bike and when not in use, the boom arm folds for easy storage and transportation. The Trek Mountain Train 241 comes included with a safety flag and a water bottle that attaches to the tag-a-long's frame so junior can enjoy his own refreshment as he rides with mom or dad.

Pros: Large, 24 inch alloy wheel, adjustable stem, folding boom arm for easy storage
Cons: High cost (when sold for new at $180 plus)

Trek 412 classic lugged steel road frame (Central District) $60

This is a really pretty old lugged steel frame. SN# 009552, it's a 1981 412 series, 24" model -- 60cm seat tube, 58cm top tube. See http://www.vintage-trek.com/TrekBrochure1981.htm for details/specs.
I cleaned it up good and did a rust preventative treatment when I first got it, but never got around to building it up, and want to clean out the garage now. The paint is original - metallic sky blue - and shows a fair amount of wear as you would expect for 27 years of service, but the frame is in good structural shape with no signs of ever taking any real damage. There are two small dimples in the down tube where the clamp on shifters sit, as the '81 models didn't have pegs brazed on, and I removed the remnants of the decals as they were cracked and peeling when I cleaned it up. This is for the frame/fork/headset only. It unfortunately didn't have any original components when I got it, and I've junked the cheap stuff that was on it.
I'm not entirely sure on value here, these are really nice vintage frames which a lot of people still ride and swear by, but its definitely in need of some loving to build it up nice. So, I'm asking $60, but may consider fair offers, especially if you can back it up with some evidence that you're in line with market value. Cash only please.

Just a note: The BB and crankset were put on bike, but no chain or pedals were put on (at the last min. i went with a FSA X-type crankset). And these have been sitting since June. I figured someone might as well put them to good use. Please reply with phone for quick reply. Thanks for looking!

Specialized Spots Fake Frames Online

MORGAN HILL, CA (BRAIN)— Counterfeit high-end Specialized raod bike frames are circulating the Internet, according to a press release from the supplier.

S Works Tarmac SL framesets, sizes 52 and 54 centimeters in red and blue, are being sold on eBay, Craigslist and other regional online sources.

The company has observed fake framesets with several incorrect characteristics including no serial numbers on frame and/or fork; fork serial numbers are under crown; fork serial numbers start with K85L; and headset carbon cone with FSA logo.

The framesets may also include a counterfeit S Works Pave seatpost.

Specialized warns that the counterfeit product is not safe, should not be ridden and is not covered under the company's warranty.

hello everyone. I am looking to trade my K2 zed 2.0 hardtail mountain bike for your fixed gear or single speed bike. This bike has been great for me, but I am just not in need of a mountain bike anymore. It has always been stored indoors, and has nothing more than average wear you would get from xc biking... here are a few features:
-size medium (check www.k2bikes.com for sizing info)
-Manitou 80 mm front shock, with adjustable damping control
-Shimano components ( visit this website for more info: http://www.bikepedia.com/Quickbike/BikeSpecs.aspx?Year=2005&Brand=K2&Model=Zed+2.0&Type=bike )
-Red/silver paint scheme
-V-brakes, not discs unfortunately
-New tires/brake pads....recently tuned at Greg's Greenlake as well.

I am looking for a road bike, preferably a single speed or fixie. Anywhere between 55" and 58" sizing.
Please feel free to contact with any questions/concerns or offers. The pictures included are stock internet pictures, further high-res pics are available upon request.
Thanks for your time

Schwinn Le Tour GSX road bike (Rainier Beach) $675

I'm a mountain biker. I bowed to peer pressure and tried road biking... It just isn't my gig!

My failed "experiment" is your windfall! I looked long & hard for the best affordable bike I could find. The LeTour - Tiagra shifters, brake levers & derailleurs, aluminum frame, carbon fork & seat stays - totally fit the bill.

I bought this bike in June - at the time retail was $1000. I've ridden it 6 times. It has never seen the rain, and has been in the garage. There is not a scratch on it.

It is a size Large.

For entire specs: http://www.bikepedia.com/Quickbike/BikeSpecs.aspx?Year=2007&Brand=Schwinn&Model=LeTour+GSX&Type=bike

A marketing quote I found: "A two-wheeled rebuttal to the theory that it takes several thousand dollars to buy a nice road bike, the Schwinn LeTour GSX is one of the best road bikes around."

And another: "WHY IT'S COOL: With bikes this inexpensive, there are always a few shortcomings and lingering gripes: too noisy, harsh, or sluggish or all three. Not so here. In fact, you don't really notice the bike at all. The neutral handling keeps it going where you point it, and the carbon-fiber fork and seatstays take the sting out of the aluminum frame. Upshot: It's a remarkably efficient ride for the price."

One last review: "DITCH THE HYBRID: After years of seeing people at charity rides laboring on heavy hybrids, Schwinn designed a better bike. The Le Tour GSX has a hybridlike, upright rider position, but a much lighter frame, a drop handlebar and triple gearing to get you up any hill. THE TIRES HELP: The 28c tires on the Le Tour GSX are wide enough for riding on a gravel rail-trail, and also offer more cushioning on rough pavement. SAFETY BRAKES: Schwinn even offers bar-top brake levers on this bike, so you don't have to change hand positions to slow down."

I'd rather it get ridden, and not collect dust, so thought I'd list it.

As far as I know, this is a vintage, early model, Large framed Tour Easy. It is almost all original (I just put a new Schwalbe Marathon front tire on it; the bottom bracket grease was hardened, so I cleaned and repacked it - the bearings were otherwise in like-new condition). It has an adaptor on the seat base to allow shorter riders to ride it as well (probably like a Medium/Large frame would accommodate in addition to what a Large frame accommodates). The adaptor could be removed, and does not detract from it's being all-original.

While I am not an expert on Tour Easy's, I know enough to realize this is about the best ride of any recumbent available.

Blue color, paint in decent condition considering age.

Bontrager X Lite / Front and Rear / $313 ( front wheel alone retails $450+)

Brand new, the front wheel has never touched the ground. This wheel is so nice, and so fast (from what I read) you won't know what to do. I was going to buy the new front wheel, but lack of cash forces sale of the first wheel. Save more than $100, don't pay retail. Rim tape included. All you need is tube, tire and cassette. The front wheel is in good condition, with normal wear and tear. Front wheel is black with black spokes. The rear (seen below) is super-hot. Silver, white and red, makes my mouth water!

If you don't think $313 is cool, make a dang' offer. These wheels should be ridden, not collecting dust in our garage.

This is a great bike for small folks (I'm 5'1") -- and, both the seat &
handle bars have room to adjust if you are taller. 12 inch green frame, 26
inch wheels, 21 gears, new break pads, fenders, rear rack, everything
(gears, breaks, etc) works well. It's a good bike for riding around town.

I bought this bike used in December, took good care of it, and rode it
until June when it was stolen. And in the beginning of August, the bike
was found! But in the meantime while it was gone, I acquired another bike.

If you are interested in this bike, please give me a call and we can
arrange a time for you to check it out -- 206.547.0864. If I don't answer,
please leave a message with your name and phone number and I will get back
to you.

Bianchi Milano Cafe Racer.I can't remember the exact year I got it(not more that 3yrs.ago) but I have barely ridden it. I bought it for around $550. Almost perfect condition accept missing the front fender. Beautiful redwall tires and red leather handle grips. I'm only selling it becuase I don't have the space for it and I don't ride it as much as it deserves. I love this bike it would make a great Christmas present!!!
price is nagotiable. Thanks!
